LEE Jin Sun’s practice questions the existence of emotional and physiological binaries. Hair has been a central material and provocation in her artworks; she employs it to create eerie, disconcerting forms to examine our notions and boundaries of disgust, fear, and attraction. LEE’s works traverse and investigate crucial spectrums: beautiful-repulsive, essential-useless, human-non-human, living-dead.
