As boats and buses go by

There are 2 main stories. Tien works at a noodle place, owned by a middle-aged female twin, likes to daydream, sometimes Tien is confused between the past and the future. In the beginning, Tien daydreams about different places such as lovers in the street, department store, a grandchild of one of the twin, noodle places, etc. The other story is about Hara who works at a passenger ship. She accidentally enters a storage and meets a man who has visa problems. He said he is reading a book to create his past because he comes from the future, and Hara, who thinks the past is almost choking her, cannot understand him. In the next scene, Hara eats noodles at the noodle place run by her mother and returns home by bus. There is no direct relation between the two stories, but there are subtle coincidences that temporarily connects them. Regarding the structure, the page is divided by 2 columns. The paragraph starts on the left, the next one comes on the right and the structure continues on this rhythm. As you read through the text, your eyes move from side to side.
