JEUNG does not merely sympathize with or conform to modern civilization, but rather seeks to creatively articulate the other side of phenomena or both sides of events.JEUNG’s work Colorful bombis a visualization of the idea that when the aggressive meaning is removed, fireworks can transform into an explosive power we can indulge in, that is, the festive image, through which we can delight in splendid visual pleasure. Based on the personal experience of having seen paint drops on city maps giving the visual impression of explosions in the city, this work also signifies the collapse of equilibrium in the division of geometrically standardized space.
