The ephemeral works of Jon Foreman are much in line with that of other land artists, but it is evident that he strives to create something different each time and to make works which are quite unlike other land art works. Much of his works evoke loneliness and serenity, in places which often seem detached from the normal world. The aesthetics of his work also have the ability to change with the climate, depending on weather and tide, giving his work more dimensions.
