Lim Hyoung Jun's work centers around an exploration of sound. Intangible and invisible, sound is given form and visualized in the work. The artist expresses his vision and understanding of the world by translating emotions into visual terms, imbuing daily objects such as a piano, horn or violin with psychological meaning. Each musical instrument is intended to harmonize with the natural sound of the sea. These harmonic resonances communicate both feeling as well as individual stories, evoking and delivering hopes for the future.
Combining intangible sounds with a physical object set within nature offers viewers a fantastical and pleasant visual and auditory experience.
